This huge Cadillac continued the very long line of impressive vehicles produced by the company. The slogan used for this new post war model was "from victory on the battlefield to victory on the highway" - a clever way of turning the lost years of production during the war to the ad-mans advantage. The vehicle weighed two tons and was the first of a succession known as "jelly-beans" because of their aerodynamic lines.
