The Bellevue Special was built by the famous mechanic Wilkie Wilkinson one of the original Bentley Mechanics. Construction took place at the Bellevue Garage Kingston not far from Brooklands. After the Second World War the car was owned by Basil de Lisa who raced it at Goodwood. In the early 1970's Mr Norman Hart began a complete restoration to return the car to its former glory.
