The 1922 TT Vauxhalls were originally built to compete in the Grand Prix formula of 3 Litres which was the current regulation. Unfortunately the formula changed to 2 Litres prior to the cars being completed and so they were entered in the TT and at Shelsley Walsh. After these early exploits the cars were driven regularly at Brooklands. Winning many races between 1922 and 1928.
