Swallow Sidecar and Coachbuilding Co. was the original company title who introduced the Austin Swallow this later became Jaguar Cars in the mid thirties. It was not long before William Lyons realised he had to do a lot of `forward thinking` to get the business going. Henlys gave him an order for 500 cars which included the saloon version which Henlys thought essential.
